Ireland, Fall 2006

IrelandSo originally I started by typing this up at our various stops throughout Ireland. I was always a day or two behind in typing it, because there just weren’t enough times when I could charge my laptop to spend time typing on it… not to mention that on the chances when I could get internet access, everyone wanted to borrow my laptop so they could do whatever and it would always drain my battery. In the end when I got back from Ireland, I just kept putting it at the back of my list to finish. Then about 4 months after in January I decided it was about damn time that I finish it. I wrote the last days worth of events and read through it all to fill in some of the details I forgot or just totally omitted on the basis that I either didn’t have time or just had a lot running through my head to talk about when I first started writing. A lot of the time I spent typing on it came late at the various hotels and I didn’t want to stay up too long for fear of being worn out the next day. My original plan was to update the main blog with this information when we got to a resting point, but as previously stated (and as you are likely to hear at least a couple more times), internet access is not as abundant in Ireland. Anyway, better late than never, and without further ado, I present my travel journal from Ireland, September of 2006.
