Well now.

So it seems that being out of school and working everyday has caused me to not have anything good worth posting about. Seriously, I’m tired of posting about work, and that’s all I did last week and the week before.

I’m out of school for the term. It feels good. My report card wasn’t bad for last term, at least if you ask me. I got A’s in both Illustrator and Digital Media Concepts (I guess either Jason accepted the project late or just didn’t give a damn and gave me an A, either way, THANKS JASON! :) ) I got a C in design. Eh, after the final project, this doesn’t seem so bad, but for as much work that went into that class, seeing the C kinda miffed me and got me down a bit. But a C is passing, so I can’t complain too much. I got a big fat F in my C++ class. Whoopdie do. C++ can kiss my butt. It’s funny, because on the day of the exam Mr. Charles Corder asked me if I was gonna turn in any more labs than what I did (I turned in 2 of 6) so I just said what the hell, sat down and did them for the fun of it. I knew at that point I wasn’t going to get better than a D anyway, and I really didn’t care if I failed. What more can you expect when you are basically forced to take a class, then the class turns out to be different than what you signed up for? Good riddance C++.

I picked up a new dreamcast. The old was was pretty much destroyed. I’ve been finding games on ebay and such and picking them up dirt cheap. So far, I’ve spent about 40-50 dollars on about 15 games. Not bad.

Joe’s birthday was last weekend. We went to Mike and Doug’s to celebrate. Things didn’t go to well, but I don’t wanna talk about that. I’ll just say the only thing that kept me from crying and hitting Joe was the fact that other people were there.

Yeah. In that past two weeks, that’s about it.

Okay, one work story. JUST ONE, I PROMISE. I worked about 43 hours last week. I went to work Sunday, then Ann found out I had overtime and sent me home 35 minutes into my shift. I’m not sure wether to feel kinda pissed that I didn’t get to work what I was scheduled (and make 40 dollars in 3 hours) and because I had to plan to be at work only to spend 35 minutes there… or if I should be happy because after working that much, I got out of it and got to go home and relax.

I pretty much just went home and loafed around for a few hours before I went to my room to watch terminator 3. I got about 15 minutes into it before I fell asleep. Then I woke up with JJ sleeping next to me and the movie done and over with. Oh well. I watched it the night before anyway.

Anyway. I’m outta here to do loads of nothing. See ya.

No, I didn’t die.

So. School is finally over. I’m very relieved. I took my last exam tonight and it really sucked some major ass. Programming classes should NEVER have exams on paper, at least not when it comes to coding. I swear, if there is anyone who can write code out flawlesly without a million scribbles all over the place in the 2 inches I got to write it out… I want to punch that person. Design turned out “ok”. My final project sucked REAL BAD. I found out Tuesday that the assignment I was working from (the one on David’s website) was not up-to-date… therefore, I had to start over. The project that I originally had 3 weeks to do I now had to re-do in 4 days… DURING FINALS WEEK.
Good thing I did damn good on the exam for design, otherwise I’d be screwed.

Illustrator…. *sigh*… Michelle came out pretty good. Jason thought I did a really good job on her. I was hoping for best in class. I got a whopping 2 votes. Kitty won. I’m sooo jealous. She deserved it though. I still have a chance at my goal and that’s what matters to me. I think I’m going to take Michelle into Photoshop and do some work on her, just to make her 154235345 times better.

And I just remembered that I forgot to turn in my Digital Media Concepts final. OH CRAP. I hope Jason accepts it late.
(5 minutes later)
Okay, I emailed him. Hopefully he’ll take it late.

Anyway, that’s the bulk of what happened last week. I was too busy with final projects and junk like that to spend time writing here.

My weekend was great though. Friday, after I tanked my Design project (I think I managed to talk my grade up though) I went to Mike and Doug’s. Doug was kinda bummed most of the night because one of his dogs was hit by a car and passed away :( So if you talk to Doug be extra kind to him and try to keep his spirits up.

We went down to the tennis courts and skated around some. We took our hockey sticks of course, and we shot around some. I fell down once and put a hole in my last good pair of pants. I’m gonna try to stich it closed later this week though, after they get washed.

Then Mike and I ran some errands, went back to his place and goofed off while waiting for Kristen and Joe to show up. They said they’d be there around 7:30, but didn’t end up getting there until 9:30, so Mike and I managed to polish off a bottle of wine each before they got there. I didn’t even feel anything the entire night, and I drank enough that I got full. Weird. So Joe and Kristen showed up looking entirely homosexual dressed as “Wham!” (for you youngn’s, Wham! was an 80′s pop band with George Micheal as the frontman.) We played some Clue and other junk and went to bed at… 12:30.. I think… I don’t remember. Oh well.

We got up the next day and the usual 6 of us went to breakfast at “First Watch” which is over by WSU. The menu selection was great… but the place just kinda sucked. Well, it wasn’t BAD, but their style was just stupid, and the egg in the omlette tasted incredibly fake… and like onion. I wanted to go to a pancake house near Mike and Doug’s, but oh well. We’ll have to go there some other time.

Afterwords, as we had planned for about 2 weeks, we went to Kings Island because Joe managed some passes from the station. Being the last day it was open, the place was packed. It was a 20 minute wait in line just to get a freaking funnel cake. To be honest though, waiting in line was somewhat fun, because I got to spend time with Joe, Mike, Doug, Kristen and Kristin. I think we actually only went on 2 rides, and one hunted maze thingy. It was so great to be able to spend the day with all of them and it was such a great stress reliever after finals week.

After KI, we went to LaRosa’s because they are the best, and then we went to Kristen’s at 11 or so, with the intention of watching “Finding Nemo” and playing a game of Clue. We ended up watching all 7 overtimes of the Kentucky vs. Arkansas football game, because it would have been impossible to get Joe and Mike away from that. So when it was finally over shortly after midnight, we decided we should leave, because if we watched the movie, it wouldn’t be over until almost 2, and Mike, Doug and Kristin would not get home until around 3-3:30.

I woke up on Sunday for church at 7:30, went to breakfast with my parents, then came home and slept until 1 or so. Then I watched some movies with dinner in between and went to bed. I was bushed after Friday and Saturday. Not much more happened today, then at 4:30 I went to take my final. That’s over with, here I am, typing about everything. So that about wraps things up. Don’t forget to leave comments.
