Still kinda tired :-\
Saturday wasn’t that bad. I didn’t manage to fall asleep until 4 something or other, and I woke up to the alarm just fine at 6:30. So I got a whopping two hours of sleep before heading to work. The work I did Friday night paid off, because I managed to be sluggish all day and get my job done in time. Mary bought McDonald’s for everyone, which was pretty darn cool. I didn’t get tired until about 1 or so, and then my eyes were just flat out burning. I was fine though. I started a half-assed job at post at 2, and normally it takes about 45 minutes for two people to do it… I managed to get most of it done in an hour.
I went to church right after work so I could sleep in today. I’m surprised I was able to stay awake the whole time. Not that church is boring, but in a warm building with dim lights, on two hours of sleep, I think a 10 year old that drank 10 expressos could sleep.
I went home, had dinner and then there was about an hour I don’t remember… then I went to lay down for a bit around 6:30. I woke up when Mike called me at 7:30 asking if I wanted to hang out. He told me to be there at 9 and I went back to sleep for a little bit. At 9, my mom woke me up and told me I should probably just get changed for bed and call it a night, because I was sleeping still in my church clothes, gel in my hair and all. I realized it was 9 and went to Mike’s instead.
At Mike’s, I watched the Italian Job, which was awesome. I missed the first 20-30 minutes or so, though. A friend from Mike and I’s hockey class my sophmore year at WSU stopped by and watched it with us. Kristin and Her mom came by to check out the apartment because her mom was in town visiting. So we stopped the movie for a bit and talked with them, and finished it after they left.
After that, Mike and I played some video games until we both just got sick of being awake. I had gone there with the intention of staying the night, but there is no substitute for my cozy bed, so I drove home at 1:15 or so. I went to bed as soon as I got home.
I woke up this morning around 10:30. The morning was just flat out weird. I knew my parents had gone down to cincy for a bit for TallStacks, and Joe was the only other one home. I was REALLY REALLY bored, so I mostly just went up to my computer, then back downstairs to see if anything new had happened downstairs in the time it took me to go upstairs. I carried on this pattern for about an hour or so before I just decided to put on a movie.
So I sat in my room for a while and watched the Boondock Saints (good movie.) and then I went downstairs to see that Joe was now gone, and my parents were home. I went back upstairs, got on my computer for about 10 minutes, went back downstairs, and no one was home… Upstairs again, an hour later, my parents were home. blah blah blah, yadda yadda, more boringness ensued, then after dinner I worked on Michelle some more. Most of the facial details are done, but I may notice some other things later. I added a couple things to the neck and I’ve started working on the shirt. I still need to finish the hair, but I’m thinking that will probably take about 4 more hours or so, so I don’t wanna start that just yet. If I keep up the pace that I started, I should be just about done next weekend. The consensus around class is that I suck because I’m far ahead, but after this weekend, other people’s should be starting to look more like mine.
Yet Another Progress picture.
You won’t notice too many changes between the last one and this one because it was mostly subtle stuff on the face that I worked with.
Tomorrow, we are supposed to have our first prints displaying our progress. I’m going to take some photo paper with me tomorrow. If I get the chance to print, I will. But I don’t care if I do or don’t. I am well on my way to my goal. Like I said, I don’t care if I fail, I just want to be in the display case.
So anyway, here it is, nine o’clock on Sunday, and I think I’m just gonna put in another movie and clean my room a bit.
PEACE OUT MAN!
